Watch recording while record still in progress

Should GB-PVR be able to do this?

For instance, the rugby game is recording, i get up an hour later while the game is still in progress, go to recordings, go to in progress, pick the relevant recording, and press play. Only a blank screen comes up.

At the moment it's using the Cyberlink Mux

Any suggestions appreciated.

Works for me but I do something different. I have Live TV always to record and playback, not display in real time.

So if there is a recording in progress if select Live TV gbpvr always says no available tuner, cancel or watch the recording in progress. When I select that, I can watch the current recording, skip forward, back etc.c

Yes, it should be able to do this. The only common-ish problem we see that makes this not work is the GBPVR Parser filter failing to register. This is fixed by running ReRegisterFilters.bat. Try that.

If you're still got the problem, reproduce it then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Also got rid of my problem of it stretching 16:9 footage (from TVNZ Sport Extra and TV3) vertically when watching it.
