Searched the forms for this one but canât find anything.
I have Vista Home Premium set up with a Hauppauge HVR-1800 Card. I am trying to use the MCE remote that came with the Hauppauge card and have it configured as MCE Remote in config.
Some of the buttons work and some donât. The not working part is that Windows MCE keeps popping up. Example; When I press the little button that looks like it should be a listing, the GBPVR TV Guide displays. A few seconds later, the WinMCE Guide displays. Then I have to exit WinMCE to get back to GBPVR. There are more buttons that result in this type of behavior but this gives a good idea. It appears that WinMCE is running and still executing the keys that are pressed as well as GBPVR. I thought that the easy way out of this would be to disable WinMCE but from what I found on the web, there really isnât a way to do it with the Home edition. (Iâm sure there is but I just havnât found it).
Before I start down the remapping inputs route(s) I figured Iâd see if anyone else had this problem and how they took care of it.
