View Windows fonts on TV

I know this is more a Windows question, than an issue with GBPVR, but I'm trying to do this for my HTPC.

I think somewhere there is a way to adjust Windows to use an easier to read font. I changed my resolution to 800x600, but it's still hard to read things.

Go to display settings, and under appearance, you can click large or extra large fonts. (this is for XP)

These sometimes don't work so well, as a dialog box may have been made the right size for text at "normal" size.
