Tv listings data and channel icons won't update or show up on pvrx2 or mvp

Hi All,

This is strange but my computer is getting the listings from schedulesDirect, but it won't update the TV guide page on either the PVRX2 or MVP TV guide section with either show data or channel icons. It does however update the EWA section with show data and lists the channel icons .Any ideas why?

How are you getting the listing? Using the xmltv client?

If you are using native support within, GB-PVR how do you know that you're receiving listing? (Other than the message box)

If you are using the client and have a loaded xmltv file, it's probable that you would need to empty the EPG completely then update it once manually from within the capture sources screen...

try viewing the TV Guide in PVRX2.exe, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Are you running on vista?

Hi Sub,

Yes I was running Vista. I went ahead and dumped the program and reinstalled the program on the server side. That seemed to do the trick. All my issues seem to repair themselves. I looked in the logs myself and found links that weren't working. Will try to be more careful next time. Thanks for the help!
I don't have a zipper program either. Do you know which one is the best or if there is any freeware out there?

Windows can automatically zip files. Just highlight the files, then right click and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder.

I reinstalled GBPVR on the server side and everything worked. I also discovered that the wireless connection I was running on had dropped. The error will come up if your connection gets dropped. I will make sure I check for that next time. I also am using schedules direct. Is Schedules direct connected to zap 2 it?

Yes, its pretty much the same thing except you're paying for it now.
