Hi!

I've been using the system I built my GBPVR on for ripping and burning DVD's. Now it appears that after GVPVR or the GBPVR Recording Service has started, I can't access the DVD drive - the software reports that it's locked. I can't just stop GBPVR and the Recording service - I have to reboot the system and then RIP a DVD BEFORE I start GBPVR, then I have no probs. I've gone through the GBPVR Config and removed all references to DVD plugins, playing back DVDs, etc. - but somehow running GBPVR still locks the DVD drive. Has anyone else seen this, or know how to fix it?

Thx!

You haven't accidentally mapped one of the directories to be your DVD drive letter? (long shot, I know - but I am able to use my DVD when using GBPVR)

Is this with PVRX2 or GBPVR interfaces?

Thanks

I'm using GBPVR, not PVRX2. My DVD drive letter is H:, and isn't referenced anywhere in my GBPVR config. I'm going to try starting PVRX2 instead of GBPVR and see if it still happens. I guess that maybe it's not the recording service (which runs at system startup, not user logon) - but the app that runs from Startup when the user logs on that locks the drive. I'll try this and let you know.
