force pvrx2 on top

i have a batch file which maps a couple of drives etc. which runs on boot and also pvrx2 (both are in the startup menu).

when starting up, pvrx2 is full screen for a few seconds, then the taskbar is displayed which means the remote doesn't work.

any idea on how to force PVRX2 to be always on top?

(my batch file includes @echo off and have removed it from the start menu and put it as a scheduled task which makes no difference - also, i'm calling a shortcut to the batch file which has been set to run minimized)

EDIT - i removed the batch file and is still happening - must be something starting in the system tray...

EDIT - sorted - uncheck 'Keep the taskbar on top of other windows' on taskbar start menu properties. phew.

Try launching it with the start_pvrx2 variant of start_gbpvr.

thanks a lot for the pointer, uisge - i did search the forums but didn't come across this one.

the phrase "I find the "focus" feature to be a little too robust" sounds very promising!
