US CATV Channel Displays on TV, Shows in EPG, Only Shows Static in GBPRV/PVRX2

I thought maybe I needed to fine-tune the frequency for just this one channel, but supposedly this isn't required in the U.S. and I can't seem to get the exact frequency from my cable provider for my channel lineup. If I connect a TV to the cable I can see the channel. The channel number is found by the GBPVR channel setup and EPG guide (Schedule Direct), but when I select the channel using either GBPVR or PVRX2 all I get is snow. What can I try to fix this?

I found a wiki that had the frequencies for standard analog US cable but can't find the link...

Thanks for the info - I browsed the thread, and think I found the wiki info you mentioned. I also have the CATV frequency chart, so I'll play with it and see what happens.

Since you live in the same state as me you will probably have the same problem. the registry entries did not work for me at all. What I had to do was get a program called dscaler and go through each channel finding is freq then inputing that under the recording sources channel lineup in config. I cant remember but I think it takes 8 or 9 characters like sub said in the other thread.
