Duplicate channel listings driving me mad

I have the same problem (lately) with TV_GIDS_TO_XML from Ammarillo (or what is he called Smile

). Stop time is before start time or 23 hours later or something like that. Conficts all over...

On advice from a friend I tried TVxb but kinda stuck there too. TVxb generates errors while processing the HTML files and will not download more then 4 days....

Still looking for a solution...

I'm now using the Python grabber from Paul de Bruin with my own modifications to prevent the duplicates. So far it's working for me. If you'd like to try the modified version, PM me your email address.

PS: I think the real cause of the problem is in the tvgids.nl website that is used as the source; it just is not very accurate.

Mail adres in your PM. I think tvgids.nl is the main problem. Thinking about tvgids makes me wonder if there is another website where it can be downloaded? Not to my knowledge....

The only other website I know of that has the same data is gids.omroep.nl. But they have an explicit statement on the website that automatic downloading is forbidden.
