Tonight I went in after noticing that there were new channels showing in the TV Guide that I do not receive programming for. I went into config and removed the channels for the capture source and did an EPG update. It looked like it executed normally, but now I get "no show details" for everything in the TV Guide. I am using SD as my source. I have also remove these additional channels from SD so they wont show up in the future. I then went in and removed all channels from the capture source and did an update. All of the channels loaded again and I still show nothing in the guide. I would prefer to not have to start with a new DB and lose all of my scheduled recordings. What happened to my listings and how can I fix this?

I figured it out. I read a different post and realized that maybe my system clock was off. I checked it and it was set to Jan 2007. I had been checking my clock since it was a few minutes off from my other pc. I must of hit the page up or home key with the system time window open.

Lesson learned.

You need to remove the unreferenced channels from both the config file and the schedules direct lineup. I have just done that myself and I am assuming that the channels with no details will disappear with my next epg update (assuming no programs are scheduled for recording on those channels).

opps! This is the answer to a different question than the one you asked. Glad you got your problem fixed.
