I'm going *crazy* trying to get hibernation to work on my pvr. I've recently installed The Hibernator so at least the machine now hibernates when it's idle. But now I have a problem with it waking up. Sometimes I get the grey "Resuming Windows" bar across the bottom of the screen and then the PC hangs. I have to hit the reset switch and delete the restoration data to get it back.
Anyone any idea what might be causing this issue? Or any pointers as to where I can start looking, any logging I can switch on etc? I really don't want to leave the machine running 24x7, my electricity bill (and impact on the planet) is bad enough as it is![Sad Sad](https://forums.nextpvr.com/images/smilies/sad.png)
All help greatly appreciated! Running XP, by the way.
Jon.
PS: As an aside, I had a spare hard disk so I tried installing Vista on the same
machine - no problems at all with hibernation then, but the Vista nVidia drivers don't support TV-out
So it's back to XP...
