The UK Radio Times EPG give a star rating for movies and I used to search the guide for ***** to find what they call good films to see what they were. I'm having trouble finding how to get the * from the PC keyboard. The chars above 1 to 0 don't do anything other than ^ and _

Cheers,
Martin

* is a wildcard though. I doubt this would work

it does work through the gbpvr web page.
It's a great way to find **** rated films.
(that's **** rated, not XXX rated btw)

Is it a wildcard? Yes, for filenames, but not AFAIK for text searches. If it's a wildcard for text searches, then I still can't enter it from the keyboard. (I'm sure I used to be able to in earlier versions).

Try the attached patch and let me know. Also make sure you have the 'treat number keys as mobile phone text entry' setting disabled in the config app.

You are a star sir. Works a treat.

Many thanks indeed for making your software even more usable (for me at least).
