Does the TV Guide work in New Zealand, if so how do I get it to work, i have nothing showing on the screen when I select Tv Guide

It does work in New Zealand, but you'll need to supply the xmltv files that contain the listings. I'm also in NZ. See http://www.nerdthings.com for some software that will create these files for you.

Can you explain in a bit more detail which file do I download and how do i use it, or better where do I cooy it to

you can either goto http://www.nerdthings.com (a nz htpc site) which has many xmltv options available, i made a xmltv grabber (called xmltvnz, original name i know ) which is a commandline app which you just run like

or whatever, for more info on my grabber goto www.reveninteractive.tk all the info is there. once you have a valid xmltv file goto gbpvrs config app and select the xmltv file location and hit update epg. you just have to run xmltvnz or whatever grabber once a day, and gbpvr will automatically check that file each day (usually at 3am but you can specify when). if u need more info about setting up gbpvr with xmltv check out the wiki.

Has XMLTVNZ stopped working? I can't get it to work for TV1 TV2 anymore, it just sits there forever.

Just checked the TVNZ1 option - that's OK, it's the TV1 TV2 options that seem to be broken

Looks like they have changed the format as the parsing is way out of kilter. TVNZ1, TV1,2 give errors for me. But, then, I am just finding my way around this beast so what do I know!!
