grrrrr haha - with the departure of SCTV - im very keen to say the least to get Imparja and NITV working on GBPVR.

As has been said in the past - they only transmit the audio PID and video PID - no other data.

It would appear that GBPVR require a minimum of more than this before it can resolve a pic /sound??

Hi Everyone,

dont suppose anyone has had a look at this?

Very frustrating to know there are 2 channels present that i cannot pick up on the PC Satellite card (that i can pick up perfectly well on the STB).

Surely if a STB can handle it - a Sat Card could also? Big Grin

I've been meaning to look into it but pretty snowed under with my day job at the moment, with a deadline looming at the end of the month, so I havnt found any time to investigate further yet.

I've had a quick look and its not good news. I think you might be out of luck. The Microsoft Demultiplexer, which is responsible for receiving the muxed data and splitting it into the various streams requires the presence of the PAT table for it to function. This is not present in this mux.

Microsoft Demultiplexer ? - is this the MS-DVR option? what if i chose another multiplexer? - not sure if this is something that can be worked around...?

In GB-PVR the output of a BDA capture device is always connected directly the microsoft demultiplexer. Sorry, there is no setting for using any alternative demultiplexer, and would be a big job to add support for other demultiplexers (and they may not cope any better anyway).

thanks for your help - and speedy replies...

Might have to rig up the old STB as an external input source somehow - and use that to input Imparja. Lucky only the 2 channels are hidden in this way - and the other channel is for aborigines mainly - so imparja would be the only one im keen to have.
