For some reason PVRX2 crashes whenever I'm in timeshift mode and not watching "in real time" and I attempt to switch directly back to the TV Guide. I get the typical "do you want to send an error report" from Windows XP and the program locks. The background recording program doesn't seem effected.

System Specs:
--------------
HVR-1600 capture card
ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 Video card
Celeron D 3.20 ghz CPU
512mb RAM
Windows XP SP2 (fully updated)

In the background, I'm running:
---------------
Hauppauge Remote program
AVG Antivirus Free Edition

I've attached the logs and have a screenshot of the error in Windows if it will help.

I've tried looking around through the logs and playing around with various settings but I really have no idea what I'm doing. Has anyone had any luck with this?

There is no sign of any errors in the logs, but the typical things to try would be changing the audio/video decoder and audio renderer to see if it helps.

The problem was the audio decoder. I just switched it to 'system default' and that seems to fix the problem. Thanks for a a great program!

Ditto. I was having a similar problem with playing back recorded shows. Trying to move forward through commercials was freezing the system enough to cause a reboot to get control of my computer back. Changed the playback decoders to System Default and all is well again.

Thanks for the suggestion, falk1856. Big Grin
