exception error while transcoding

transcoding an mpeg to xvid and pvrx2 seemed to stop responding - when remote controlled, saw this message (with details attached)

i can't get rid of the message and will have to restart, i think.

i'll try and convert some more and see how it goes..

It what stage does it do this? Immediate as you start the transcoding, or at some later stage?

seemed to be after completing although not every time - i managed to transcode a few others and got the error above after 3 transcodes (different files)

Sorry, I dont know. I just tried transcoding four one minute long mpg files I had and it didnt produce any error.

i'm deleting the original mpg afterwards (or was) - this shouldn't upset anything?

also - when the screen saver kicks in, does this remove the - cancel/close - menu regardless or progress?

I also experienced this problem. It occurs typically when I try to transcode a file in the Videos section after another transcoding of another file in the Videos section has finished (too bad transcodings cannot be scheduled from here). It has happened to me twice. I'll try and see if I can reproduce it and send the logs... may take a while though...

It just happened again, this time when I was leaving the directory in which the file was transcoded (after transcoding finished). I have attached the exception message as well als the PVRX2 log, which doesn't show anything (log flushing was disabled; it is enabled now, so when it happens again I'll see if it shows anything additional).

I was never able to reproduce it here, but I've made a change for the next release that should hopefully resolve it for you (based on the messages in your logs).
