The directories are fine and online, except for the server Database Share when the GBPVR server is offline. Would that be a problem? It doesn't seem to relate to this error.

Can you post the pvrx2.exe.log?

Now that I take a closer look at it, it does look like it does this everytime its started up and the GBPVR server is offline.. which I guess actually makes sense to me now if its reading configuration files on the server. Does this sound right?

I made both boxes stand-alone and it looks like its fine now.

It absolutely needs to be able to talk to the server the whole time or you'll get unexpected problems like this. Specifically in this case I think its having problems getting to the database on the server.
