New user and I'm already in trouble

I just loaded the New gbpvr program onto my media PC and I get this Error Message" Application failed to initialize properly" any ideas or suggestions?

I'm running winxp sp2 and a Wintv-250pvr card

Do you have .net framework 2.0 or higher loaded? You also need the visual c runtime. Make sure you have those installed.
