GBPVR Client - File Sharing or Streaming

Which one is better and why? I personally have choppiness when rewinding or fast forwarding on streaming, haven't tried anything out on file sharing.

sharing + are
its more reponsive
lets you watch dvrms files aswell

live tv doesnt work so no time shifting etc

streaming +
you can use time shifting live tv works well
not as responsive when it comes to ff/RW or opening files (probably depends a bit on the server machine)
- you can only watch Mpeg files

Most of the time, I am going to be watching already recorded files on my laptop and I will connect my laptop to a television. I am guessing sharing is better for me in my case. Are there any other suggestions?
