Hi

So heres the question, at least 1 MVP, pulling EPG via a XML file, access for recording by EWA, so the whlle thing is self contained, there is no reason to access the machine itself.

Will GBPVR run fine if the machine is never logged in, i notice there is a Service for GBPVR but will this service run the MVP, EWA and update the EPG with out the need of any user being logged on?

Many Thanks
Ashley

Apart from using the DVB-T EPG, that's pretty much the way I run my main GBPVR server - only time I logon is if I need to make changes to GBPVR setup (plugins, skins, etc) and once a month to install XP updates (if any)...

All those items run in the service. The machine doesnt need to be logged in.

Just what i needed to hear.... same thing here, it might be logged on about once a month but apart from that it wont really be used as a machine (however the main reason for the question is due to the "microsoft" crash thing, the server recovers very well however it never logs in , just restarts.....

I didnt really want an "auto logon" to be set up and this means i now dont need to.
Many Thanks
Ashley
