Hi Sub,

I have good news and bad news!
Using the entries that you have suggested, the recording worked!

I figured out the the blackbird variable indicates if the card had a hardware MPEG Encoder. My last configuration entry failed because GBPVR could not find any MPEG encoder.

The bad news is that Live TV did not work. However, I think I know what the problem is.

From the logs, it appears that DSHOW failed when it tried to load the WINTV color format converter.

2008-04-01 23:55:57.000 ERROR ConnectFilters(pCapture, colorConverter) failed
2008-04-01 23:55:57.234 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
2008-04-01 23:55:57.234 VERBOSE - Hauppauge WinTV Color Format Converter 2
2008-04-01 23:55:57.234 VERBOSE - Capture
2008-04-01 23:55:57.234 VERBOSE - WinFast DVR3100 H Crossbar
2008-04-01 23:55:57.234 VERBOSE - TV Audio
2008-04-01 23:55:57.234 VERBOSE - TV Tuner

Using graphedit, I discovered that the correct filter to use for my card should be "Conexant Color Format Converter" instead of "Hauppauge WinTV Color Format Converter 2".

Is there anyway I can test my theory? Anyway to load a custom graph?

PS: The main reason why I bought this card is for the Remote Power-On. I am a lazy bum! Smile

First make sure the deinterlacing setting is set to 'encoder pass through' in the config app. If that doenst help, post the logs and I'll take a look.
