Hi,

I think I've installed the right mux's
===
GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: PP MPEG Muxer (aka, CyberLink MPEG Muxer)
FILE: C:\Program Files\GBPVR\ppMpgMux(5.0.0.3608).ax
VERSION: 5.0.3608

Found: ATI MPEG Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Program Files\GBPVR\atidvcr(9.14.0.60504).dll
VERSION: 9.14.0.60504

Found: ShowShifter MPEG PS Writer
FILE: C:\Program Files\Home Media Networks Limited\ShowShifter\MpegWriter.ax
VERSION: 3.12.0.2990
===

In config I've set xvid to all the post processing options
In misc2 tab I've set BDA Multiplexer to Cyberlink

I've fired up PVRX2, Video Library, select the .dvr-ms file, click transcode, box pops up with start, I click start box goes away and nothing else appears to happen.

I've managed to get this far searching through the wiki and forum for the last two days. Now I'm stuck.

I've zipped up the log directory if that would help anyone.

Thanks
Alan

i would say that the cyberlink mux you have isnt been seen as a cybelink mux by the config
have you tried the ati one just to see

when you select it to trans code a box should stay there till finished

I've just tried the ATI one, no luck.

The box still goes away almost immediately.

I'll try downloading the other cyberlink mux's and see if they are any better.

Thanks

Hi,

I was just going through the Cyberlink mux's listed here http://www.gbpvr.ynosgroup.com/cyberlink_mux/

I thought I would start with the latest one going by the version numbers
ppMpgMux(5.0.0.3608).ax

It popped up as cyberlink in the muxchecker and in misc2 tab so I thought it was ok.

I'm using directshow filter manager from here
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Dire...anager.htm

I then removed .3608 version and installed MCEMpgMux(5.0.0.2903).ax
That was weird, it just didn't show up in directshow filter manager.

I then installed THMpgMux(5.0.0.2022).ax and my computer bursted into life. I can now see ffmpeg.exe working away.

I think we've cracked it.

Many thanks
Alan
