Hello Everyone!

I'm not sure when this problem started, but I just noticed it yesterday. None of the EPG data is getting loaded into GBPVR. I use yapi2xml to get the EPG data. I have verified that the .xml file is there and full of all the data that it should have. I also verified that I have the correct path and filename in GBPVR's settings.

After I try to update the EPG, this is the last line in pvrx2.exe.log:
2008-04-21 14:11:48.780 ERROR [1] Unexpected error informing recording service that EPG has updated: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at GBPVR.Backend.Common.x396614b3dae3b1da.x19443d7c8ffd7572()

I verified that the GBPVR recording service was running, and it was. I don't remember what version of GBPVR I had been using, but I completely uninstalled it, rebooted, renamed the \program files\devnz\ folder, then installed the latest version, 1.2.9. That didn't help. I also uninstalled .NET 2.0 and VC++ runtimes, rebooted, then reinstalled both, and rebooted. That didn't help either.

I have no additional plugins installed. Logs are attached. All help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Are you trying to run PVRX2.exe with a command line parameter to update the EPG? That could be the cause of that last line error message. Thats not your actual problem though.

The problem is that your xmltv file has duplicate channels.

Good call! I removed one of the channels and tried again. Strangely, it didn't work. But I didn't need that particular channel at all, so I removed it completely, and it was good to go!

Thanks for the help, Sub!
