Has anyone successfully got this combo to work?

Comcast STB
I am having a hard time getting this to work.
Am I just beating a dead horse?

IF you could give some more details as to what is not working that would be helpful, i had a similar setup (but i have the hvr-1600) and it did not work well for me. For some reason the computer would freeze up, then it would not boot up properly, and when i removed the 150 from the system it works just fine.

You may want remove one of the cards and see which one is the problem.

Right now the only card I have in the box is the HVR-1800. I have coax out of the wall and into the card for analog. I also have the red, white and adapter plugged into the card from the STB. My major issue now is how do I change the channel on the STB? I tried HIP. I tried IR Server Suite. Neither seems to work for me. I have the ehome infrared transceiver driver installed after trying and failing with the MCE replacement driver. I think if I got the STB to change channels everything else would fall into place.

It seems like with either HIP or IR Server I would get to the part about entering the codes from the TV Remote into the app and that is where everything stopped. The codes from the TV Remote would not be recognized by either app. I have two identical remotes with two identical STBs. (General Instruments DCT2244)

With the PVR-150 alone the blaster would change the channel fine. I was happy with that. But when I installed the HVR-1800 "Could not find the IR hardware" was the error msg I got when I tried to get the blaster to work. Then neither card seemed to work for anything other than analog channels 2-81.

Try re-installing the pvr-150 blaster drivers again. I think after you install a second card the ir gets set to that card. Re-installing should get the 150's ir working.
