Edit channel name in guide

I hope this hasn't been asked before, but I am curious about how to edit the names of the channels in the guide.

I am using QAM mappings with my 1600 and have some of my current channels as my unlisted channels. For instance, I have a couple on demand channels mapped to a few of the low channels and NASATV mapped to like FAMHD I think it is.

I would like to know, is there a way to change these current names to more accurately reflect the channel I have mapped there, or would it be easier just to create a new entry and do it that way?

A lot of it comes from what is found when tuning in.

But to force names to something that you want, use an xmltv base guide for your channels, then you map the xmltv channel names against the tuner found channels.

But it will require getting rid of your channel sources and re-creating..
