Serial IR - WinLIRC - IREX issues

I have just finished a clean install of GBPVR. Everything seems to be working well except the remote control. The remote works with GBPVR except when a recording or timeshift tv is playing. Then only every 6-10th button pressed is picked up. I am using a WinLIRC and iRex with a harmony remote. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have fixed the problem. I found that the ForceSingleProcessorAffinity was set to true. Once I changed that to false I am now able to use the remote all the time.
