Working! .. but with problems

Ive managed to map all my local areas channels, but ive still got a few problems that is ruining my viewing experience.

1.) Changing between channels seems to take a long time minimum of 5 seconds between one channel and the next.. I want it to as closed to instantaneous as Hauppage TV manages to be.

2.) Sometimes when you select certain channels it doesnt load at all, you have to wait about 30 seconds looking a blank screen and then it kicks you out into the menu screen.. if you select 'live tv' again you have to change the channel quickly else the problem happens again

3.) Only a few of the channels seem to get EPG information, I know I can download this from the internet, but why can't i get it from the signal for all of the channels?

Do you have live preview mode enabled in the config app? If so, then it should be taking less than a second to change channels.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

GB-PVR support the standard DVB EPG. If the channels you're viewing broadcast this information, then GB-PVR will collect it and show listings for these channels. If they dont, then you'll have to find some other source for listings of those channels.

What capture device are you using.

I'm not in the UK, but from what I've read most Freeview DVB-T channels carry a full EPG. A few channels dont. The Freesat DVB-S on the other hand doesnt use the standard EPG since they're trying to stop Sky users etc from easily accessing the service.
