I recently was able to get GBPVR up and running well and now I am looking at adding some plug-ins for additional functionality. So a question out there for all of you. What are some of the recommended plug-ins that you all use?

I'm sure this will create alot of different responses as everyone has different wants and needs. But I am still interested in what you all view as essential plug-ins and why you see these as such? What additional functionality do these offer above and beyond the (substantial) "basics" already in GBPVR?

I use the following on my recent 1.2.13 update:

GameZone - a must have if you have console emulators like NES, Gameboy, MAME. Truly awesome! Also lets you setup links to any PC games you may have installed.
MovieWiz - this is a great plug-in for organizing and watching your movie collection. Downloads movie info right into GBPVR and very customizable.
SkinPlugin - lets you change the GBPVR skin within the program and has many selections.
Cinema - download your nearest movie theater info into GBPVR and lets you even watch movie trailers of them.
RSSReaderX2 - lets you view RSS feeds
Weather - grabs the latest weather info for a selected city, has some weather maps too
WebCams - great for setting up locations of any webcams you like to view (that are photos, not live video feeds)

GameZone and Music Library2 (3?) are my 'must haves'. I also have webcams, moviewiz and weather installed but use them less frequently. Torrents is still kind of experimental, but I'll support it all the way....
EDIT. Oops forgot DVB-T radio, but I guess that's UK specific.

Keep them coming guys. So far I have only installed Cinema, DVDBurner X2, and Weather. I haven't used DVDBurner yet but it looks like a good app.

I currently use Music Library 2, super simple archiver, and IMONVFD. ML2 is essential if you have a large collection of MP3s (I have over 3000), SSA is essential if you use more that 1 drive for your recordings, and IMON drives the VFD in my Fusion case perfectly.

I am looking forward to trying Netflix very soon.

My Staples:
  • MVPTrayIcon - But seems a bit broken on latest version with Vista
  • Xrecord - long time - love it.
  • EWA - GREAT (Actually a utility)
  • Moviewiz - Excellent
  • MVP Screen Position - Don;t use after initial install

Others tried and removed due to infrequent use
  • UbuStream/Radio - Good - might reinstall
  • Weather - Seemed resource heavy
  • Webviewer - outdated
  • MyVideos - outdated
  • VideoArchive - Seemed resource heavy and Xrecord does all I wanted from this.
  • Cinema Listings - Good but never used

Utilities
  • EWA - EXCELLENT
  • Ztools- removed
  • ProgrammImageTool-Still use!
  • Comskip - GREAT
  • Comclean - Occasional only
  • ShowImageGrabber (now=WizImageGrabber) - GREAT - Part of WizTools

After trying quite a few I have ended up with only two, MovieWiz (I couldn't live without it) & MLPanel that I'm helping to develop with ACTCMS (although the version I'm using is quite different from the beta available at the moment, hopefully we will get a new release out shortly).......the only other tack ons are comskip & the Blue-Retro-SHV skin I wrote (so I can read everything on the TV with my tired OLD eyes Smile

The plugins that I have installed is

MovieWiz - Wonderful plugin to use on a large movie collection.
WebRadio - Simple plugin that I use instead of NetRadio.
Cinema - Cool plugin, even if I don't use it much.
Weather - Same as Cinema.

And naturally Community skin.
