yeah twitter is the best place for progress, im planning on tweeting some new screenshots shortly.

im doing some major redesigns to clean up the interface (and im constantly changing the db atm, so if i did a release the next version you would lose all your data).

Watched the YouTube clip... looking good reven.

Side note: I need to revisit the poster image transforms at some point. I'd like to look into bevelling or feathering the edges so they are not quite as sharp. I'll do that as soon as I can get somewhat caught up on my other projects.

the redesign doesnt look anything like the youtube video now Smile

and currently im not using the fade out for posters (may add it back not sure yet), ill add it as an option in the skin though, but not sure if it will be in the default skin.

the working version im running is using lots of images from boxee, so ill have to photoshop some of my own before releasing it

anyone interesting in an online community like boxee?

where you can recommend/rating videos/movies/whatever. and have friends and see what they are watching etc?

would have to setup a new site to do it (and need a host)

but i think it would be cool.... anyone else?

lol, but i want something that has no association with anyone really. would be a pure community driven type place. ill do all the maintenance for it and get it off the ground (i program asp.net web apps for my day job).

just be nice if we could get free hosting for it (windows server 2003/2008 with full sql server 2005/2008 would be nice)

and of course we need a good name...
