Picture Freezes but audio OK

Interesting problem not sure if anyone else has seen the same problem.

99% of the time I get perfect recordings from my 2 Nova-DT DVB-T tuners (UK freeview). However sometimes the picture gets stuck although the audio can be heard in the background.

This has happened on 2 programs Derren Brown and recently The Family.

Symptoms.
Recording starts and seems fine with intro/adverts until we get the title (for the family rhis was a black background with the text in white (The Family)). On the actual program which I watched the title fades to the actual program, however on the recording the title stays although the the sound keeps going.
It was similar for Derren Brown where the title was Black with white text - is this a common theme?

Has anyone else seen this problem, know how to solve or am I just going mad.

PS Running latest of GBPVR 1.2.13

Just checked file size. For a 1 hour program it is only 157Mb (normally its 1Gb +), obviously dropped the video after the freeze point.

This was the subject of many threads on the Hauppauge forum some time ago. Famously it happened when channel4 broadcast the series 'Lost' which had a similar fade to black title.

Unfortunately it was never resolved.(and the threads on the Hauppauge forum have been deleted)

If someone can do a full ts recording of the show covering then we can take a close look.

They might be trying to be tricky by changing the audio/video PIDs mid program.

I'm using the microsoft DVR-ms.

I still have the .dvr-ms file. Is that what you want?.

If not let me know what I need to do and I can try when the next family is on (23/9 @ 2300 perhaps just record about 10 mins worth to cut down the file size).

I can then post on web site for you to download.

No, it'd need to have been a recording with the 'full ts' mux to have any useful info in it.
