record one channel watch another

Hi,
New to GB-PVR just tying to set it up. My problem seems to be that I can rcord a program ok but not watch a secon on a differant channel whilst this it happening. I am using a Hauppauge PVR 4000. I used DVB Viewer before and this was not a problem. Lso does anyone know how to tune into analog channels with this card using GB-PVR, I get stations with the tuning assitant but how do I enter this info into the program.

This is one function that with your current setup is not possible.

Its a difference in the way that DVB Viewer and MediaPortal deal with the Transport Stream from the satellite.

Currently the only way to do this with gbpvr is to run two tuner cards.

And in case you don't know the hvr-4000 while listed as a Quad card, is a quad mode card, meaning it has 4 different modes of operation. Its is not a quad tuner card in the sense that it can record 4 things at once.
