I would first like to apologize in case this has already been addressed, although I have done much searching both in Google and in the Wiki/Forums and have not come across a solid answer to my question...

For a while I ran Vista with the Media Center program it came with (this is after running GBPVR on XP). It was nice in that I could use the program iPodifier to convert the shows to iPod and add them to iTunes automatically with all of the show's info (title/episode name/etc.)

When I first switched back to GBPVR I was able to convert shows and get them on my iPod, but did not have any of the show's information with it, just the filename. This is quite bothersome when there are tons of Simpsons episodes and you know which one you're looking for but don't have a name to go by...

I had tried Linux, but that's a whole different story =p

I'm now back on Windows with XP and GBPVR and was wondering if there is a solution to this problem...namely getting shows onto the iPod keeping all metadata.

Once again I apologize if there is already a solution that I've somehow missed and I thank you all in advance for any help!

You can try this. It should include metadata...

Or this, it changes the file name to a more appreciable format.

Thanks for your replies. In the vein of AddEpisode, I used WizRenameRecording to do pretty much the same thing and then iPodifier was able to parse the name properly and do what I needed it to. Thanks for your suggestion!
