I would also suggest LM Remote Keymap, it's very easy to use too.
The remote I use with my HTPC is a Gateway branded remote, but is exactly like a Hauppauge 1062 remote and says RC6 on the back. It looks just like yours except it doesn't have the colored keys at the bottom. It and a PVR-150 card came out of a Gateway machine and someone sold the pair on fleaBay.
I also have one just like your picture except it is black (but it does have the colored keys). It's odd in that the stop and pause button locations are reversed, but other than that it's the same. It came with my Hauppauge HVR-1600 card. It feels flimsy though, just feels cheap. My Gateway remote feels solid and a bit heavier, so I prefer to use it.
Anyway, both work just fine. Out of the box only the main funcitons work, but using LM Remote Keymap all functions can be made to work and can be configured to whatever you like.
