I have a problem with all my recordings after upgrading to 1.3.7. All recordings seem to have a negative start time and are not seekable, so I cannot skip ahead. If I press skip it goes back to the beginning.

Any ideas why this is happening?

I just installed powercinema and changed to the cyberlink mux and tried recording two programs on separate tuners with multi record off. One of the recordings was fine, the other displaying the same problem.

Logs attached.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

It is a quite a mission to watch any of my recorded programs as I have to load them up in powerDVD and when the adverts come on, I have to click on the timeline to skip them which means watching tv, sitting at the computer. Pressing fastforward or skip returns the video to the beginning.

The problem only occurred when upgrading to 1.3.7. Have searched through the logs, but I don't know what I'm looking for. 9 times out of 10, the recording will be fine, but the rest display this problem.

My tuner is a HVR-2200. OS Vista 64. Core2Duo. 2GB RAM, Geforce 8600GT.

I'm seeing this occaisionally myself, including with Timeshifted LiveTV. The only time I've had the problem though was during periods where I was getting a slightly flaky signal from my antenna (I'm tuning ATSC).

I'm getting the impression that something, somewhere, in GB-PVR has become more sensitive to a slightly poor signal (or more specifically, sensitive to the something in the resulting flaky stream). I've seen another thread where people couldn't complete a channel scan in 1.3.7; for one guy adding a signal booster allowed the scan to complete, while removing it again resulted in the scan crashing (he was tuning QAM I think).

I have a very strong signal, so I don't think that is the cause. It's only since I upgraded that there was an issue, so I am almost certain the problem is with GBPVR.

This is a known problem now in 1.3.7. See this other thread. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=38677
