I installed the TV Listings plugin, disabled TV Guide plugin, and couldn't watch live tv when I selected a channel in the TV Listings plugin. When I enabled the TV Guide plugin, I could then watch live tv when selecting a channel in the TV Listings plugin.

Is there a dependency between TV Guide plugin and watching live tv? If so, then user shouldn't be able to disable it in config.

I think you may need to change the following in config.xml:
Code:
<DefaultPluginGuide>TV Guide</DefaultPluginGuide>

To:
Code:
<DefaultPluginGuide>TV Listings</DefaultPluginGuide>

I'm not aware of any reason you'd need the TV Guide enabled. Bump the thread in a few weeks when I'm back in NZ and I'll take a look.

I'm running TV Listings without TVGuide being enabled, and mine work fine.

Whurlston: I knew about that and made the changes so my remote would activate the correct plugin. The issue is that when I had TV Guide disabled, then any channel I selected in TV Listings would not appear on the screen. In short, I can't watch live TV without both TV Guide and TV Listings enabled.

Reproduce the problem, then post the logs - maybe they'll contain some clue.
