I kid because I love.

Still lazy however.

Edit: Here is what I see without actually trying it.

Start with this line in slick:
<Placement name="StandardButtonOrigin" buttonsEnabled="false" loc="12,12" offset="5.0"/>

Change from "false" to "true" and then play with locations and offset to suit.

You may need to adjust these locations as well:
<Placement name="ListBackground" loc="0,0" forceView="LIST"/>
<Placement name="ListView" loc="2,24.5" size="40,4.5" spacing="5.0" rows="11"/>
<Placement name="InfoSummary" loc="62,25" onlyWithoutInset="true"/>
<Placement name="CoverArt" loc="43.5,25" onlyWithoutInset="true"/>

Hey guys, first time here, thanks for having me.

I had a quick question, thanks to Fatman_do I was able to add the "StandardButtonOrigin" buttons to the video library in the slick skin, however I was wondering where I go to change the font that "StandardButtonOrigin" uses. Also is it possible to remove some of the buttons ? For example I don't need Transcode or Play All so I would like them gone.

Thanks in advance Big Grin

You are welcome.

That would be in the \Skin2\slick\baseskin.xml file.

This line:
Code:
<TextStyle name="ButtonTextStyle" color="White" size="11"/>

The font is driven by this line:
Code:
<TextStyle name="DefaultTextStyle" typeFace="Arial" size="12" style="bold"/>

If you want to use Arial for all fonts but have Yellow buttons you can make this change.
Code:
<TextStyle name="ButtonTextStyle" color="[B][color=Red]Yellow[/color][/B]" size="11"typeFace="[B][color=Red]Tahoma[/color][/B]"/>

There are more advanced things you can do, but for now this will get you started. Be aware that this will affect all buttons.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. Now that I can delete tv shows I've already watched I absolutely love the new "slick" skin.

I thought I'd add to this thread.

I adjusted the Video Library skin, and moved some things around. Certainly sub is right, real estate is limited if you want to prevent looking cluttered.

I like this, but I might still play with it. I still like this much better than the current version of Mayhem (which I actually really like) which had a sticky popup for the details...

Tweaked...
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND][ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

Just take the skin file dfop it into the ..\gbpvr\skin2\slick\Video Library folder.

Back up the old one if you want...

Oh and BTW, I could have put the clipart on the right side, but there were some videos with quite long descriptions. I moved the title into the black bar and extended it straight to the other side, so that "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949)" wouldn't wrap...

Oh well it's my first skin tweak

Hello to all - new user here. Thanks sub for a truly great piece of software (this is the first app I've been able to get to work properly for my HDTV Wonder) and for all your hard work. Thanks also to zehd for the mod on the slick skin (I like the slick layout but really need that transcode button...)
