There is probably no support for Lame in this ffmpeg, you might have to compile it in yourself.:eek:
If you google it you will find it.

Thanks, but I think I will just live with this fix. After the encode, if I look at the .AVI's properties, it says it is encoded with LAME MP3 so that is fine with me Smile

If you transcode the files to .avi files, and delete the .mpg files, then view the recordings screen, it should update the database to point to the avi.
That doesn't appear to work. If I go to RECORDINGS, it still lists the show, but when accessed, it only has CLOSE and DELETE buttons.

Actually you do know, lol. I was just getting ready to correct myself. After closing PVRX2 and re-opening it and going back to RECORDINGS, the show now has a PLAY button and plays the XviD file just fine.
