GBPVR conflict with powerpoint?

For some reason after I install GBPVR, when I try to insert an MPG file into a powerpoint presentation, powerpoint freezes up. I can insert other movie file types with no problem but not .mpg's.
I know it is GBPVR because I went through a long elimination process and as soon as I install GBPVR powerpoint starts acting up.
Does anyone know why GBPVR would cause this?

I'd be surprised. GB-PVR doesnt install any MPG codecs on your machine, it just uses ones that are already on your machine.

Even if there is a possibility of a conflict between GB-PVR and PowerPoint my choice would be simple...get rid of PowerPoint.
