Custom Submenu Crashes When Using Slick Skin

I have created a custom submenu off the main menu to help organise some custom tasks I have configured. If I use the Blue skin the menu works fine. However using the Slick skin causes PVRX2 to crash with an unhandled exception error. I have replicated this on two computers.

The logs are attached and the popup error message copied below:

I look into this for the next release. For now you'll either need to flatten your menu structure, or stick with the Blue skin.

Sub, I'm seeing this too. It seems to be when the menu tries to display the custom task.

Flattening won't win any WAF points (or KUF - Kid Usability Factor,) so I'll stick with Blue for now.

Would you be looking into it in one of the 'patches' floating around or a full release cycle? Just so I know what to keep my eye out for.

Just an update for anyone following this.. 1.3.11 still crashes in this case.

Still no slick for me Sad

However, it's still worth the update.

Sorry, its not something I've looked into. For now you'll have to either stick with the default menu structure, or use the blue skin.

Hi All, I found the same problem, but without custom menus.

I disabled all menu items except Video Library, DVD, and Exit and got the error. With a bit of patient testing I discovered that if you have six menu items enabled (any six) the slick skin works, but with fewer items, a gap appears in the horizontal menu and the .net error appears.

My solution was simply to enable three more menu items. I suggest that those with custom menus should try this, perhaps by simply repeating the menu items.

Hope that helps until sub gets a chance to look into this. (Thanks by the way for an amazing PVR).
