Hello,

I loaded latest comskip files (exe, ini, dlls and postprocessing.bat - the last one i put after recording was done) into default GB-PVR directory.
Since then all recordings have (besides MPG file) four files created by comskip (correct me if wrong):
movie_name_date_starttime_endtime.edl
movie_name_date_starttime_endtime.log
movie_name_date_starttime_endtime.txt
movie_name_date_starttime_endtime.logo.txt

But new movie file (without commercials) is never created (or i do something wrong).

My current config settings are set to convert ASAP-4am, MPG auto-convert to XVID (tried No conversion also) and I did not check running comskip on live recording (during recording).

Please let me know what I am missing or did wrong. Last recording has been taken on 01/09/2009 10pm-11pm. I have restarted system several times since then but my system usually runs 24/7 all the time (except for maintenance of course). Logs & created comskip files attached (do not know if they contain information needed for troubleshooting).

Can i run comskip conversion manually? what parameters do i use then?

Thanks for help!

I'm guessing something is going wrong with your MPG -> XVID conversion. Try disabling it to see if it comes right.

unfortunately same story happened (XVID set to no conversion now and postprocessing.bat residing in gb-pvr directory): all 4 files were created and movie file is there but it contains commercials and there is no new movie file without commercials. any workaround this?

This is normal. GB-PVR or comskip doesnt try to remove commercials. GB-PVR just uses the .edl file to know which bits it should jump during playback. If comskip makes a mistake you can just skip back and watch the bit it incorrectly identifed as a commercial.
