I am having a problem installing 1.3.11. I double clicked the MSI setup and then see a popup error "Error 1324. The folder path 'swe_tasj?01.ini' contains an invalid character." The setup was doing "Computing space requirements".

I had no problem installing and running 1.3.7.

I am running Windows XP SP2 Chinese.

Do you guys have any idea? Thanks.

It looks like something about your Chinese version of Windows doesnt like the special characters in some of the swedish files. This normally doesnt cause a problem. I'm not really sure what to suggest to resolve it.

I have exactly the same problem, and I'm running XP SP2 traditional Chinese.

I really want to use the program, is there any way to get around this?

I tried to use uniextract 1.6 to extract to a folder, did find swe_tasj01.ini file inside, but have no idea how to proceed.

Please help. Thanks!!

Sorry, I dont have any suggestions for getting it going on Chinese versions of Windows.

I'll rename these problem files for the next release, but unfortunatly its going to be at least a few weeks before that next release is out.

Thanks! I can wait as long as it can be fixed. Smile

There is a way to workaround this.
Firstly, your chinese windows must be XP/Vista or windows7.
For vista, got to control panel, in region and language settings. find "language code for non-unicode program" in the "management" tab, and change it to english, you will be asked to restart your PC, do that, and then you can install GBPVR without any errors.
After installation, you can change the the language setting back to chinese. There is no problem to run gbpvr under chinese system.

P.S. Everyone should really code their program with unicode, at least try to do so.
