Ah! OK I think I see what's happened - I used the VidImport utility on the server - where the recordings folder is on a local disk (d:\shares..etc), but the share is seen as \\bleep\TVRecordings\... from the client.
So somehow I've got to edit the filename in the database to show the external share path, or could I re-run VidImport from a client whilst pointing at the share directory maybe (having temporarily moved out the 'imported' files to let the server clear the database)?
