hi Im using 1.3.11 and have put this <MVPTranscodeTS>false</MVPTranscodeTS>
in config.mxl so i can use mvp to watch ts files
files this is how it reads

<DisableHauppaugeMVPScreenSaver>true</DisableHauppaugeMVPScreenSaver>
<MvpHighPriority>false</MvpHighPriority>
<MVPTranscodeTS>false</MVPTranscodeTS>
<MvpTranscodeFLAC>true</MvpTranscodeFLAC>
<MvpTranscodeOGG>true</MvpTranscodeOGG>

the ts files crash the mvp so copy and rename file to mpg and it plays good. Any help would be good thanks

I also have just noticed for the line we added (that I cut & pasted from sub's message) "<MVP" is all in caps where as for the FLAC & OGG line it is "<MvpT" with mixed caps & small. I wonder if that is the problem?

Jaggy is correct. The case is wrong. It needs to be <MvpTranscodeTS>

For this to work, you have to be using the mvpmc dongle. The Hauppauge will definitly not understand transport streams.

Also, you'll find the transport stream playback will not work well on the MVP. It'll report incorrect duations in the timeline and be unable to skip around within the recording. If you're using an MVP, you pretty much been to use the Cyberlink mux when recording, so that you produce compatible .mpg files.
