I have had problems with gbpvr crashing while trying to configure a DVB-T card & found the solution, so here it is for all those having the same problem.
Look in 'bda.ini' (in gbpvr folder) and find the entry for your dvb-t card. Now use a program like 'DSGraphEdit' (demo) (freeware) to look in the filters available under 'bda reciever component' and 'bda source filter'. Find something that sounds like your card and make sure that the entry in 'bda.ini' for 'filter_capture' and 'filter_tuner' are the same. (See screenshot).
For my card (original dvico fusion DVB-t) these entries seemed to have names matching the older drivers.
Enjoy.
