I am finally building my first pc-based client. The setup is straight forward. However, if I use Streaming, liveTV works perfect even for ATSC channels, however, recordings stutter. If I use Fileshare, recordings work perfect including HD ones, but liveTV stutter. I tried changing the client pre-delay to 4000 and 6000 with no difference. I am using a fast GB Ethernet with no speed issues.

It seems that it is either livetv or recordings will work well but not both. I am grateful for any insights you might have. I am using mpg files with cyberlink mux on the server.

See if you can get the TS-Mux to work for you using file sharing mode. It works good for live tv for me and recordings will work some of the time but your results may differ.

Thanks. I already tried that with the same experience. There appears to be a fundamental difference between the two modes that is resulting in such an inconsistent behavior.

I am really quite dispointed in GBPVR's client performance. Recordings and livetv buffer play smoothly outside of pvrx2, however they are problematic once I use pvrx2, which is the whole point of having a client PC. I am usually impressed by the quality of Sub's work, but did not know the client was that problematic.
