My GB-PVR machine is in the basement and doesn't connect directly to the internet. Rather, my upstairs gaming machine has dial-up internet connection, and is hooked to the GB-PVR machine through a home network.
Here's my question: I want to get my TV listings, but have my gaming machine do it - then have my PVR get the listings from a shared network folder - but maybe only once a week. Is this possible to do with the Zap2it plug in? It seems that Zap2it wants to connect directly from my PVR, but I'd rather have my gaming machine do that. Possible? Keep in mind, the PVR won't be able to use the internet itself - since my upstairs 'net computer is usually turned off.
