sound does not sync with pictuer

The sound does not sync with the picture when I watch live TV. It's a second off. How do I fix that?

I have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400
a Pentium 4 2.20GHz with 512 mb of ram
and at wintv 150.

Have a play with the audio options-

When I have (for example) "Directsound: Soundmax Digital Audio" audio selected, all is well, but if I choose "Soundmax Digital Audio", it all goes wrong. Also try different audio codecs....I use AC3 for everything- Cyberlink is OK, but seems to use more processor cycles (and therefore noisier fans!!). Avoid leaving it sent to the default setting.

At some point, you will get the right combination of audio codecs etc.
