Hello, newby here...first post. After much fiddling and a lot of reading in this forum (thank you!) I have GBPVR working very well, I can even watch live TV on my wireless laptop! The only problem I have is the SchedulesDirect listings in the tv guide are a hour early....for example the 5PM news is listed at 4PM. If I schedule a recording at 4PM, I get Opra instead of the news....a waste of hard drive space in my opinion Smile If I remember to schedule the recording at the correct time, the name of the recording reflects what the tv guided has listed for that time. I have tried dumping the EPG and doing a complete update, didn't seem to help. At this point, I don't know if the problem is with GBPVR or with SchedulesDirect....it's almost like SD doesn't know we are on Daylight Savings time.....
Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Thank you,
Mike

Yes, it is. I tried changing the computer time, all that did was to change the time display in GBPVR, didn't do anything to the tv listings....still showed the 5PM news on at 4PM.....

Yes, I double checked to make sure the computer was set up for Pacific DST, juggled the system clock around to see if that made a difference, it didn't. I have a lineup support ticket generated at SchedulesDirect, it just seems to me that they don't know my zip code is Pacific DST time zone.....just a guess on my part....
Thanks,
Mike

There is no known issues with the app that can cause this. Every time we've had it in the past its been either the users timezone set incorrectly, or they didnt have the PC set to automatically adjust for daylight savings. These need to be set correctly for the Schedules Direct listings to be converted from UMT to local time.

Remember when adjusting your PC settings that you'll need to do an 'empty epg' and 'updated epg' to force it to get rid of previous incorrect times - just changing the PC settings will do nothing to the times of the listings already in your database.

Well now, don't I feel like the fool....Big Grin I had just done a Microsoft automatic update, and guess what it did? Yep, it had turned off DST clock adjustment.....sheesh! Anyway, thank you everyone for your help, and especially thank you sub for a fantastic piece of software......
