Hi,
In a fit of stupidity yesterday I decided to add a freesat card (hauppauge S2)
To the PC , it already had a Dual freeview usb (haupauge) which was working
fine and dandy.
Since I added the freesat card and tried to config its channels it has buggered
up some of the freeview channels now :-(

Is there anyway via some sqllite commands to extract out the channel tuning config for a particaular tuner ?
Is there any way to them modify the extracted info (to change to to another tuner) and then import it ?

That way when you have two identical tuners , you dont have to manually
configure the same data twice ( which is painfull )

Some changes to the map channels tab could makes things so much easier:
Such as a best guess button , it would read a channel name , the go through
the scancache file (from the bottom up) and do a best guess fit at assigning the names together.

A filter bar above the right hand side chane info , so when you have 100's of
channels its not such a chore to fidn the right one you are after (especially if there a duplicate entries and ONE is wrong)

And lastly , has someone got a freeview and freesat scan cache file for the last week they could post for me please.

Thanks

I think Java Wiz's BDA channel migration tool should do the job you're after regards the re-configuration of a 2nd device with the same data. Utilities section on the Wiki under WizUtilities.

I have a very recent edited scan cache (removed encrypted and channels I don't want) from Astra 2, any good?

Cheers

Attached, edited scan and found pre-edited scan, this was done on FireDTV device.

Would actually be v interested to know how this goes with your Hauppauge. My FireDTV is always very reliable scanning channels but often my Hauppauge misses many on certain frequencies. And won't read these channels even if just manually entered into the scan cache for it. This behaviour has been going on for ages and still can't get a resolution as these channels scan and play fine in Win TV.

Cheers
