Simultaneous Recording from multiple capture sources.

J I have recently commissioned successfully my four tuners to record simultaneously.

Did you need to add the single program entry to your fake EPG file?

2) Is there an instant record button in GBPVR? I mean other than scheduled recording through the Manual Rec button.

I think CTRL-K does this, but it may not work well for you. I don't use it, but I believe it records the current program (from the EPG) to its end. I'm not sure how it reacts to a channel that has no guide data. I presume it would record to the end of the current 2-hour block, but I don't really know. You'll have to test it (and let us know), unless sub or someone else chimes in.

I already tried Crtl-K and it works fine for me. Although I didnt record for long to see where it stops.

No. The need did not arise to enter the program entry into the fake EPG. The one provided by Htv worked perfectly fine for me. It imported channel names for each capture source and then all i did was mention actual channel numbers from the Tuning Assistant.

Thanks. I'm not sure why mine seemed to need the single entry. Perhaps it changed from 1.2.x (when I tested it) to 1.4.x.
