Playing recorded HDTV problem

I can watch BBC and ITV HD through my Hauppauge Sat card, I can record and the stream is watchable (though a bit jerky) through VLC and graphedit but I can't get it to play with video in GBPVR, I only get audio. I'm using a cyberlink decoder from powercinema that came with the sat card. Any ideas?

Were these recordings made by GB-PVR?

It looks like the "CyberLink H.264/AVC Decoder (PCM45)" directshow decoder isnt hooking up. I dont know for sure if this one is compatible or not. I know some versions of the Cyberlink H.264 decoder are usable from third party apps. Some arent.
